Six Local Entrepreneurs to Compete in Coachella Valley Fast Pitch Event in Cathedral City on April 9
Winner Advances to Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale During Innovation Month
Palm Springs, CA — Six local entrepreneurs will step into the spotlight on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Coachella Valley Fast Pitch competition, where they will pitch their innovative business ideas for a chance to advance to the Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale.
The event — taking place at the Cathedral City City Hall’s Council Chambers — is part of Riverside County Innovation Month, a regional celebration of entrepreneurship, creativity, and new business development across the county. This event is being organized by the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP) and the Desert Business Association.
The Coachella Valley Fast Pitch brings together some of the region’s most promising start-ups and small business innovators. Each competitor will have just a few minutes to present their concept to a panel of judges made up of local business leaders, investors, and community champions.
“This event showcases the energy and creativity that fuels our local economy,” said David Powell, CVEP’s Director of Programs. “Fast Pitch is a unique opportunity to highlight emerging entrepreneurs in the Coachella Valley and ultimately connect them to resources that can help them grow their businesses.”
The winner of the Coachella Valley Fast Pitch will advance to the Riverside County Fast Pitch Finale at month’s end where finalists from across the county will compete for cash prizes, business resources, and regional recognition. The County’s winner will advance to the Startup World Cup Grand Finale, a global series of startup conferences and competitions, held in October in San Francisco.
Riverside County Innovation Month is an annual initiative designed to foster collaboration, celebrate innovation, and spotlight the entrepreneurs shaping the future of the region’s economy. Events throughout the month include workshops, networking sessions, pitch competitions, and more — all designed to support small businesses and start-ups.
